Jefferson: Mr. Jefferson is a
friend of Hurd Applegate’s. Tall and slender, with white hair, he, like
Mr. Applegate, is elderly, quite well-to-do, and is interested in stamp
collecting. He is the owner of Cabin Island, and allows the Hardy Boys
and their friends to stay there for a winter vacation.
