Arthur E. Gray, aka The Gray Man:  Mr. Gray, as he is known, is described by Frank and Joe as “the most ordinary-looking man they’d ever seen.” He is less than average height, with thinning hair and a round, plump face, and being nondescript and unnoticed is his main goal in life. An agent with The Network [or is he really the director of the whole thing? Who knows?], an intelligence-gathering organization, Mr. Gray’s combat skills belie his nerdy appearance and black, lace-up shoes. The question the Hardys always face is: Do we trust him completely? Do we believe him? They are never quite sure.

 

The Hardy Boys belong to Simon and Schuster and the Stratemeyer Foundation. The Hardy Boys Fan Fiction authors of the Hardy Detective Agency have just borrowed them for an adventure or two.
