Plot Blurb:  Joe’s new playmate disappears.  

Splash Page:  Joe looked everywhere, but he couldn’t find his friend.  He checked around the fence.  He looked near the swing set.  He searched by the sand box.  His friend was gone!  

Note: My mom found this story in some old papers while she was cleaning out the spare bedroom recently.  It was probably the first Hardy Boy story I ever wrote.  I was probably in third or fourth grade, though I’m not sure since there was no date on the paper.
