approached the Hardys for help in solving a suspected murder –
that of her father. However,
the attraction between Megan and Frank Hardy was immediate, and a
business relationship rapidly became an emotional attachment; she
and Frank became a solid “couple” in short order.
Intelligent, with a warm, gentle personality, Megan brings
out the lover in Frank like no other girl has been able to do.

| Cameron Jacobs is the owner of the Grand Tahoe Resort, a hotel/casino in Stateline, Nevada. He is in his late 30’s, stands 6’2” and is extremely good-looking, with blonde hair and green eyes. Cameron is a ladies’ man, and considers himself God’s gift to women. He is especially attracted to Laura Hardy. |

| The Ransons are a young couple who are vacationing at Lake Tahoe at the same time as the Hardy family. Michael is in his early 30’s, and is tall and muscular, with dark hair and eyes. Erica, his bride of a short while, is a fragile-looking blonde about 22 years old. |

| A wealthy businessman from Sacramento, Randall Claremont is taking a long-postponed vacation with his wife, Lisa, at Lake Tahoe. Earnest and serious and all-business to the core, Randall doesn’t take kindly to having Fenton Hardy suspect him of wrongdoing – despite Lisa’s slightly questionable family connections! Dark-haired, friendly Lisa strikes up an immediate friendship with Laura – for being married to Super Achievers always creates a bond! |
