| Fenton Hardy: A crack private investigator, internationally famous for his crime-solving abilities, Fenton is an older version of his son Frank, being tall, dark, and good-looking. He is proud of his sons’ sleuthing abilities, and is beginning to look forward to them sharing the same career. Although he can appear aloof and withdrawn at times, Fenton loves and cherishes his family dearly. |

Vanessa Bender:
Joe’s tall, blonde girlfriend, whose intelligence and
expertise with computers and graphics is highly appreciated by her
friends. Cool and witty,
as quick with a wisecrack as Joe himself, Vanessa finds her life
more and more inextricably intertwined with the younger Hardy –
and she’s not objecting!

Megan Wright:
Megan is a 5’2” redhead with a winning smile and
beautiful turquoise-blue eyes, whom Frank meets his first week of
college. She first
approached the Hardys for help in solving a suspected murder –
that of her father. However,
the attraction between Megan and Frank Hardy was immediate, and a
business relationship rapidly became an emotional attachment; she
and Frank became a solid “couple” in short order.
Intelligent, with a warm, gentle personality, Megan brings
out the lover in Frank like no other girl has been able to do.

Callie Shaw: Beautiful, blonde Callie was Frank’s steady girlfriend for a long time, but time and distance changed things. Now attending college in Colorado, Callie has developed other interests – but she would like to remain friends! |
| Biff Hooper: Big, blonde, muscular and good-looking, super-jock Biff is, as always, eager and willing to assist the Hardys in their endeavors. |

Chet Morton: Another good friend, Chet is enjoying his senior year at Bayport High, and stands ready to help Frank and Joe whenever they need him. Chet has found a steady girlfriend, Devon Marshand, who moved to Bayport from Texas the previous year. |
| Phil Cohen: Now attending college in New York, computer and electronics whiz Phil comes home to Bayport whenever he can, and keeps his close ties to Frank and Joe intact. Sandy-haired, brown-eyed Phil may be highly intelligent, but that doesn’t mean he’s not a lot of fun! |

Tony Prito: Juggling college classes and his job at Mr. Pizza, Tony still manages to make time for his old friends, and shows that loyalties to the Hardys, and his other friends, run deep. |
| Dan Sullivan: The crazed brother of a man killed in Waco, Texas, Dan Sullivan kidnaps both Callie Shaw and Megan Wright to force Frank to obtain top-secret security plans for an important international conference. Dan has dark hair, cold gray eyes, and a menacing, brooding personality. |

Andrea Bender:
Tall and blonde and elegant, like her daughter, single-mom
Andrea is a computer animation artist who creates the Rex Rover
cartoon TV show. Although
she is slightly concerned over the things which Vanessa gets
involved with now, Andrea is quite understanding of her daughter’s
association with the Hardys. One
of these days, Andrea would like to meet someone to share her life
with, now that Vanessa is almost grown up.

Carolyn Wright:
Megan’s mother, recently widowed.
Carolyn is a slightly taller version of her lovely daughter,
with the same red hair and big eyes.
She works in the personnel department of Bayport Electric.
Quite logically, she has become close friends with Laura
Hardy and Andrea Bender. |
