"Well, we’re here," Chet said, plopping down on one of the chairs in the cabin. "Well, I have to admit that was pretty rough, but I liked it," Frank said. "Frank?" Phil asked. "This place is pretty advanced for being out in the middle of the woods, it has phones, satellite TV. I haven’t seen many cabins equipped like this." "Well Matt’s parents often stay out her for long periods of time, and they can’t really afford to stay away from the phone, so they had to install this, and also they’re movie buffs," Frank explained. "Well that guarantees we can watch plenty of good horror flicks," Tony replied. "Which should make Joe plenty happy," Biff replied. "Callie will be happy she didn’t come." "She likes horror flicks," Frank piped in. "Since when?" Chet asked. "The only horror flick I have seen her enjoy was Cat’s Eye." "Well, it is Stephen King," Frank said, knowing how ridiculous that sounded. Even he had to admit it wasn’t that scary. "Speaking of Joe, where is he?" Tony asked. "Shouldn’t he had gotten here by now?" "Maybe he got lost?" Chet asked. "No, he can follow a map," Frank replied. "Give him a little time, we’re in no hurry." Although he was worried, but with that new guy with him, things should be alright, shouldn’t they?

"Nice van you have here," Brad said, admiringly. "Did you Dad get it for you?" "No, it was a gift," Joe replied. "A gift?" Brad asked. "Who gives a gift to a couple of teenagers except their Dad?" he asked, confused. "Our local mall," Joe answered. "Long story," he said, dismissively. Sensing, he didn’t want to talk about it, Brad changed the subject. "So what made you and your brother decide to follow in your father’s footsteps?" Brad asked. "I don’t know," Joe replied. "I guess it’s because we enjoy helping people out." Brad went over to the other side of the van, while Joe disengaged the alarm system. Just when Joe was just about to unlock the door, he was grabbed from behind, he started struggling, but had to stopped when he felt a gun being pressed against his temple. "What do you want?" he asked. "Your vehicle," came the reply. Joe was turned around, where he came face to face with a man not quite his height with blond hair and hazel eyes, still pointing the gun at him. "You won’t get away with this," he said. "It seems like we already have," came the reply. "It seems a good thing we saved these handcuffs, Billy," he called out to the man on the other side, who apparently had subdued Brad. "You got the other one under control?" "No problem here, Pete," the other one announced. Joe had a feeling of dread wash over him, why would these guys openly say their names, if they only mean to take them hostage? "You make one false move, you won’t be breathing, you got it?" the man said, Joe nodded and he turned Joe back around and handcuffed his hands behind his back. Brad was handcuffed, and brought back over to the driver’s side. Both Joe and Brad were made to sit on the ground next to the van. Pete unlocked the van door, with the key he took from Joe. "Nice van you have here, do you keep it up?" Pete asked Joe. Joe remained silent, he was glad he made the interior look like a normal van, the last thing these guys needed to know, what that this van was retro-fitted. Billy went over to the other side, and was looking through the glove compartment. "Hey, Pete!" Billy exclaimed, "This van belongs to a Hardy, wonder if one of these kids is related to Fenton Hardy?" Joe paled, he knew without a doubt these guys were career criminals and many without a doubt would know who his father was, but he kept silent, which he thought was the most prudent thing to do. "Okay, which one of you is Fenton Hardy’s brat?" Pete asked. "Never mind We’ll look for an ID." They first searched Brad, "Your name is Brad Landers, and it says your from this area," Billy said. Pete searched through Joe’s pockets and pulled out his wallet, he announced, "Looks like we hit pay dirt, this here driver’s license says his name is Joe Hardy." He looked down at Joe menacingly. "Looks like we have a potential hostage, in case the law gets suspicious." "Now where is your brother, I did here there are two of you?" Billy said. Pete looked at Billy surprised. "You never heard of the Hardy brothers?" "No, you know how much I hate to watch news or read about, that’s your hobby," Pete replied. "As I recall, Fenton Hardy has two sons, the license says, Joe here is seventeen, the other one is older, and supposedly looks a lot like his old man," Billy explained. "Could even pass as a younger version of his father." "So why does this one look so differently?" Pete asked. "Must look like Mom, she must be a looker," Billy commented. Joe just glared at him, "Looks like he was offended by what you’re implying. Don’t worry, your Mom is in no danger, as long as she’s not with you. But where is your brother?"
