THE CHAPTERS
Everyday before dawn there was the pre-dawn. Before the beginning there was pre-existence. And before the world was created, there was nothingness. That nothingness was called the void, and living in the void, there lived and breathed a paradox who called ITself the Omnipotent One.
IT could not have been easy living in such a world where nothing existed. A place that was so empty that even darkness had to be created. In such a situation, time would have no meaning. Having no beginning or end, there would be no hope but agonizing eternity.
An ordinary man would have felt so alone he could kill himself. An intelligent man would have been bored mad with loneliness. What such a place could do to an intelligent and powerful would be beyond the imagination of mere mortals.
But a paradox would react differently and behave uniquely. So, when the desire to prove itself the one true only real being in all existence, IT created the Object Orientated programming language. With that, it created something out of nothing. And out of that something, IT created the darkness. It took only an instant for IT to realize that darkness was no good as it could not see.
So IT said: “Let there be light.”
And there was light. Then IT saw, so light was good. Now IT can work far more efficiently. Having existed for an eternal timelessness in a formless nothingness, IT created the blueprints and algorithms for worlds and heavens full of all sorts of shapes and forms.
IT soon wearied from the hard work, and the light begun to bother IT. So IT separated light from darkness. In doing so, IT separated work from rest. With that came day and time. With time came routines.
Looking back at all that had been achieved filled IT with pride and joy. Then IT yawned and marveled at that interesting action. Then IT lay down to rest.
And the program and routine ran on and on. Without maintenance.
