Splash Page: "Well, at least you're honest." Joe reached for the next door just as a blood-curdling scream echoed down the corridor. Joe looked up and down the hall, swinging his light each way. "Where did it come from?"
Frank aimed his flashlight to the ceiling. "Before you play dashing hero to the unseen damsel in distress, look up there."
"Say that again without the sarcasm, and I might appreciate the compliment." Joe aimed his own flashlight in the direction Frank had said. "Speakers. Look a bit too new and up-to-date to belong here. Or did they wire houses for sound a couple of hundred years ago?"
"Technically it's a castle."
"Whatever."
Special Notes: I just wanted to let you know there's three stories between this one and No Souvenirs. But since Halloween crept up on me before I could get the other stories sent in, I'm sending this one now. Also, this story takes place 3 years after the events occurring in Come Undone.
