Author's Name: RM

• Title of Story: Acquaintances That Count

• Type of Story: AU

• Rating of Story: G

• Characters in Story: The usual cast and a new addition

• Warnings: None

• Plot Blurb: Frank Hardy has headed off to college and life is a little different from when he was in high school. He and Joe are adjusting to the changes they are faced with just as someone from their past enters their lives once again.

• Splash Page: Joe saw the third defenseman wasn’t going to be easily swayed. Joe dodged to the left and then the right. The defenseman stayed with him. He was getting closer to the end zone.

He knew he had to make his move. With a quick turn to the right again, Joe swept past the defenseman. He felt another player take hold of his jersey and pull on it, trying to get Joe to stop, but it wasn’t working. Joe plowed forward and finally crossed the goal line.

He heard an initial cheer, which suddenly turned into screams of terror.

• Special Notes: This is a different type of story from what I have originally written. I hope you all enjoy.
