Another school year is almost over for Frank and Joe Hardy and they are looking forward to summer. But a series of mishaps at Bayport High School has left them wondering and ready to investigate. Frank and Joe team up with an old colleague to figure out what is going on.

Frank dropped to his hands and knees and began crawling into the classroom. He moved quietly along the wall toward the teacher’s desk. He was almost there when he bumped into a desk chair.

"Someone’s in here," a male voice said and Frank saw three flashlights click on as the computer was shut off.

Frank sprang to his feet and sprinted for the door. Just before he reached the hallway, he felt something hit him in the back of the head, and he blacked out as he hit the floor.

This story follows in the wake of the Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys supermysteries. Reader’s should note that Nancy and Ned Nickerson are engaged and I have Nancy as age 20 because I think 18 is too young to be married.
