Plot Blurb: Frank and Joe Hardy, along with their girlfriends, Callie Shaw and Vanessa Bender, head to River Heights once again. This time, they are there for the wedding of their friends, Nancy Drew and Ned Nickerson.

Frank scanned the area. He had a feeling this was the clue he’d been looking for. He got to his feet and followed the marks into the woods.

He walked for a while going deeper into the woods. He had trouble keeping track of the marks. The deeper into the woods he got, the more trees there were. Suddenly, the marks disappeared. He scanned the area, but the marks were gone. He couldn’t believe he’d lost the marks. He knew he couldn’t give up. He knew he had to keep looking. He knew he had to find Nancy.

All of a sudden, he heard branches breaking behind him. He turned. But he didn’t get far when something hit him in the back of the head. He fell to the ground in a pile of leaves. He saw a shadow just before he passed out.
