Brief bio: After graduation, I married my High School sweetheart, Jeremy. I knew I wanted to work in the medical field, so I went straight to nursing school, but ended up specializing in Hemo-Dialysis therapy—taking care of patients with renal failure. I trained at the Dallas Kidney Disease Center and worked for them for eight years; until we had children. The hours and twins did NOT mix well! Most recently, I worked for a wonderful family practice doctor, but am now a stay at home mom. My husband and I were blessed with twin boys, Brett and Garrett, who are eight years old.

When did you start reading the Hardy Boys? Around the age of ten; but what first attracted me to the boys was *cringe* the 1977 television series based on the books. Hey, I was 7…what did I know? I never missed an episode. I even have them all on tape!!

When did you start writing Fan fiction? Almost a year ago now. I have one completed story, Autumn Sunrise…with a forthcoming sequel. I’m also thrilled to be writing a story with Cyndy-CQB!! Look for it soon.

What is your favorite Hardy Boys Book? Dead of Night, The Deadliest Dare and the Blue Spine classic, What Happened at Midnight?

What is your favorite Hardy Boys moment? In fan-fiction, they are too numerous to list. One of my favorites from the old TV series would be the scene in The Mystery of Witches Hollow, where the boys along with Callie and Chet are driving along a dark country road, headed into the hollow.

What is your favorite Hardy Boys moment in your own stories? Hmm… I guess my favorite moment in Autumn Sunrise is the scene in the woods were Joe opens up to Vanessa and allows himself to give her his whole heart.

Who is your favorite original character in your own stories? Cassidy Bender—Vanessa’s cousin. Although, for a bad guy, Robert Wyatt is growing on me a little.

How would you describe your fan fic? This is a tough one for me. I’m really still trying to develop my writing. But I can tell you, that I like angst. I feel like I write those types of stories best; but I’m working on action-adventure, too!

Which of the Hardy Boys books are you familiar with and/or own? I have several of the Casefiles, Super Mysteries and a few of the digests. I also have a tweed of Foot Prints Under the Window—very proud of this one; it’s in very bad shape, but I love it anyway.

Anything else you would like to add? Just a little over a year ago, I had no idea what fan-fiction was- I just stumbled on to it, and I’m so glad that I did. I’ve met some really wonderful people! Thanks to the HDA staff, you ladies are very classy!! It’s been a great year!!
