Housewife, Mom & Freelance artist Brief bio: Married (husband’s name is Michael); I have two incredible kids- Aaron just turned 13 and has co-authored some fan-fic of his own; Stephen will be 11 in July and co-authored a story with me. Both the boys are adopted from Japan. Michael pastors a church so we are very active in the ministries there. When did you start reading the Hardy Boys? About 3rd or 4th grade Who started you reading the Hardy Boys? I think I found one of my uncle’s old Hardy Boy books at my grandparent’s house. That was the first one I read. When did you start writing Fan fiction? H-m-m, about a year and a half ago, I think??? Who is your favorite character? JOE!!!! What attracts you to the Hardy Boys? Wow, I’m not sure. I guess I like the idea of two brothers who actually get along so great with each other. What is your favorite Hardy Boys Series? Probably the later ‘Casefiles’. In the beginning of ‘Casefiles’, Joe was kind of too much the ‘big, dumb womanizing jock; After he met Vanessa, his character was mellowed out a bit. What is your favorite Hardy Boys Book? ‘Dead of Night’ What is your favorite Hardy Boys moment? Don’t really have a specific one. What is your favorite Hardy Boys moment in your own stories? None, specific- just those special times when I emphasize the close bond between the brothers. Who is your favorite original character in your own stories? Tigh Cassidy How would you describe your fan fic? My stories tend to focus on Joe either being hurt or kidnapped…I think they are fun, not too serious. Which of the Hardy Boys books we're familiar with and/or own? Between my son Aaron & I, we have about 170 HB books, some from each series. Anything else you would like to add? Picture from last Christmas.
