INTRODUCTION TO WINTERSROSE’S HARDY BOYS FAN FICTION

Welcome to the College-age Hardy Boys Fan Fiction Series. These stories are all the product of what most of my friends call a twisted mind. (Some say downright evil).

I have several new characters that I thought I should introduce you too and a few changes to Frank and Joe (mostly age).

Frank, Joe and their friends are all attending Bayport University. Frank and Joe are starting their sophomore year. Most of these stories will take place on or around Bayport University. That’s quite a challenge, at least for me.

Oh yeah, I’m not a perfect writer and I admit it. I also have an overactive imagination. I have an extreme deficiency when coming up with scientific stuff so I generally fly by the seat of my pants. (So, yeah, if you see a glaring error, sorry, but I’m not going to fix it!).

You won’t see all the characters listed below in every story.

Ok, here are the characters:

Frank Richard Hardy (age 20): Sophomore Year at Bayport U: Double Majoring in Criminology and Law Enforcement/Computer Science: Frank lives in Tauhausen Hall with his roommate, Connor MacKenzie (see below). Frank’s current girlfriend is Samantha Ellington. Frank has dark hair and brown eyes, is 6’1” tall and slender but not skinny. In this version, Frank had leukemia when he was fifteen and, as a result, missed a good part of a year of school, which is why he and Joe graduated the same year. Frank drives a dark blue Lexus convertible.

Joseph David Hardy (age 19): Sophomore Year at Bayport U: Majoring in Criminology and Law Enforcement: Joe lives in Tauhausen Hall with his roommate, Eric Roberts (see below). Joe’s current girlfriend is Vanessa Bender. Joe is 6’ tall, more muscular than Frank with blonde hair and blue eyes. Joe drives a dark blue 1999 Camaro.

Amanda Nicole Hardy (age 19): Sophomore Year at Bayport U: Majoring in Art: Mandy lives in Eldridge Hall with her roommate, Elizabeth (see below). Mandy’s current boyfriend is Connor MacKenzie. Mandy is Joe’s twin sister. Mandy has blonde hair and blue eyes. She’s 5’3” and slender with a good figure. (It should also be noted that Amanda is an expert marksman with a bow). Mandy drives a gold Infiniti G20.

Connor Alexander MacKenzie: (age 21): Junior Year at Bayport U: Majoring in Chemistry (is the quarterback of the football team): Connor is Frank’s roommate and Mandy’s boyfriend. Connor has red hair and blue eyes. He’s 6’3” tall and buff. Connor drives a green Chevy Blazer (regardless of what other colors I attempt to make it in the series – it’s green, lol)

Samantha Lindsay Ellington: (age 20): Junior Year at Bayport U: Majoring in Pre-Law: Samantha lives in Eldridge Hall with her roommate, Kaitlyn Matthews (see below). Sam is Frank’s girlfriend. Samantha has red hair and violet eyes. She’s about 5’6”, good figure. Samantha drives a bright red 2000 Mitsubishi Spider.

Vanessa Diane Bender (age 19): Sophomore Year at Bayport U: Majoring in Computer Science and Technology: Vanessa lives in Eldridge Hall (her roommate won’t figure into this, unless I decide I need her later). Vanessa is Joe’s girlfriend. Vanessa has blonde hair and gray eyes (I can’t remember how tall she was or if they said in the book so for purposes of this story, Vanessa is about 5’9” tall). Vanessa drives a 1999 black Jeep Blazer.

Chester Alan Morton (age 19): Sophomore Year at Bayport U: Majoring in (currently) Political Science: Chet lives in Tauhausen Hall (roommate currently unknown): His girlfriend is Kaitlyn Matthews. Chet has brown hair and eyes, is about 5’10” and slightly chunky. Chet drives a 1995 white Ford Taurus.

Eric Philip Roberts (age 18): Freshman Year at Bayport U: Majoring in Physical Education (is the new running back for the football team): Eric lives in Tauhausen Hall, with Joe. He doesn’t currently have a girlfriend (he’ll be a fairly minor character). Eric has black hair and brown eyes, he’s 5’10” and wiry but tough looking.

Kaitlyn Matthews (age 18): Freshman Year at Bayport U: Majoring in Physical Therapy: Kaitlyn lives in Eldridge Hall with Samantha. Her boyfriend, currently, is Chet Morton. Kaitlyn just came to the States from Australia. Kaitlyn has blonde hair and green eyes. She’s slightly built, only about five foot two.

Jackson Royce Maidlin (age 19): Sophomore Year at Bayport U: Nobody knows what his major is, I don’t think he knows either: Maidlin (which is what everyone calls him) lives in Tauhausen Hall. He’s the local prankster and pain in the rear. Maidlin is basic nerd with mousey brown hair and brown eyes, only about 5”10 or so and skinny as a rail. Maidlin, if anyone cares, has a Saturn.

Mikayla Liselle Dean-Hardy (age 20): Mikayla is a renowned singer who currently lives in LA. She was a foster-child of the Hardy’s from the ages of 10-16 and has a past with Frank that no one but she, Frank, Joe and their parents know about. Mikayla took the name Hardy when she turned 18, in honor of the people who gave her a home. Mikayla has a four-year-old daughter named Kalana Jaineen Dean-Hardy. (Mikayla will be mentioned only rarely, except for one story that she’ll take a more active role in).
