an important anniversary draws near, the Hardys & their friends pause
to remember the departed. ‘I’ll
feel wrong being there,’ said Joe finally in a quiet voice. ‘But
that’s silly,’ protested Callie, putting her hand on his arm. Joe
angrily shook her hand away and folded his arms defensively across his
chest. ‘Stop
telling me what I feel is SILLY!’ Joe demanded, his voice rising.
‘You asked me what’s on my mind and I told you. What I feel is what I
feel!’ Why couldn’t she have just listened to him like Frank always
did? If you
like a plot with a mystery, I guess this isn’t
the short story for you! I don’t really know where this one came from
but it demanded to be written. Zan.
